Cold thermal spray is a specialized process for repairing worn components that may otherwise be difficult to repair by other methods due to the construction, or uneconomical due to the cost of reverse engineering and manufacturing. This process allows components to be repaired and placed back into service at a fraction of the cost and time of alternative methods. This is an excellent method for repair of worn bearing and seal journals on shafting.
